Professional experience
- Self-employed Consultant Automobile Engineer, Claims Assessor and Road Traffic Accident Investigator since 1982, examining approximately 1,500 accident-damaged vehicles each year in the course of investigations.
- Qualified by the courts to give expert opinion on motor vehicle behaviour in road traffic accidents.
- Working knowledge of the reconstruction of incidents and the application of scientific principles to road traffic accidents, including Newton's Laws of Motion.

- National Craftsman Certificate.

- Institute of Advanced Motorists driving test pass.
- Department of Environment's Approved Driving Instructors (ADI) written examination test pass.
- Approved by the East Sussex County Council for the driving of mini buses: risk assessment and defensive driving test.
George T. Mighall does not hold the qualification of being a Class 1 Police Vehicle Driver, as he has never been a serving Police Officer. Courts have previously accepted George T. Mighall's level of experience as equivalent to Class 1 Police Vehicle Driver when relevant.
Continuing professional development
- Assistance in the crashing of vehicles for research purposes.
- Attendance of courses, lectures, seminars, conferences and field days dealing with motor vehicles and associated subjects.
- Driving approximately 30,000 miles per year in the course of work, constantly observing driver behaviour, learning different techniques and studying the art of defensive driving.
